About the Role
Design, provision, and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure for high availability, security by default, and continuous deployment. Implement Workload Identity Federation, automated Terraform pipelines, and containerized microservices.

What You Will Build & Own
- Architect and maintain scalable GCP services (GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud KMS, Cloud Armor)
- Write modular, reusable Terraform / OpenTofu IaC modules with state locks in encrypted GCS buckets
- Implement GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with Workload Identity Federation (WIF) keyless authentication
- Monitor platform reliability, latency, SLOs, and cloud cost optimization across environments
- Enforce least-privilege IAM policies, VPC service controls, and automated drift detection
Requirements & Qualifications
- Google Cloud Certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect)
- 3+ years hands-on experience provisioning enterprise GCP workloads with Terraform
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline authoring, and Bash/Python automation
- Deep understanding of cloud networking, DNS, TLS/SSL, and zero-trust security postures
Nice to Have
- Experience managing multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters and service meshes
- Familiarity with SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance standards in cloud architectures
